I'm Christopher Lindeman, a psychologically trained coach based in Dublin.
I work with people who have reached the point where they know something needs to change, but don't know where to start. People who keep starting things but not the right thing. Who set goals and don't follow through, not because they're lazy, but because the real reason behind the goal hasn't been figured out yet.
They can't see the big picture right now. Some days they care barely see past their own feet. But they know they're capable of more, and that gap between where they are and where they want to be has been there long enough.
Those are the people I work with.
I know what that feels like from the inside.
My Background
I hold a BA Hons in Psychology (2:1) from the National College of Ireland, an ACSTH Diploma in Personal, Business and Executive Coaching and an Advanced Higher Certificate in Life and Workplace Coaching, both from the Irish Life Coaching Institute. I'm an ICF member and a PSI member.
I completed that degree while working full time, attending classes two evenings a week for four years. I know what it takes to keep going with something that matters when everything else is pulling at your time.
Alongside running Progress Life Coach, I work as an Individual Placement and Support Employment Specialist within an HSE Primary Care Centre, where I'm part of a multidisciplinary team alongside psychologists, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, social workers, and community mental health nurses. Since 2022 I've supported over 50 clients into sustainable employment and education, with a 95% client satisfaction rate.
How I Work
I don't believe in generic action plans or rigid programmes. I believe in asking the right questions, listening carefully, and helping you build a clear picture of what's actually going on and what needs to change.
Most people come in knowing what they want but not why they want it. And unless the why is real, the goal just stays a goal. So that's where we start. Once we understand the why, everything else follows. The what, the when, the how. That becomes the plan.
If the why isn't there yet, that's useful too. It tells us something. We either explore it properly together or I point you towards someone better placed to help.
Sessions have a structure but they follow you, not a script. I listen to what you're actually saying, pick up on the things you might not even realise you're telling me, and reflect back questions that have no agenda behind them. The goal is that change feels like something you arrived at yourself, because you did. I just helped you get there without forcing it.
Sessions are one hour, weekly, online.
I'm not here to be accountable for your ideas. I'm here to hold you accountable to them.
What Changes
Mark came in feeling like his life was running him. He's now working in quality and risk management, still studying, still building towards where he wants to go. He hasn't stopped.
Steven came in drained after work, saying yes to everything and everyone except himself. He now has control of his time, energy for the things he actually wants to do, and has stopped taking on things that aren't his to carry.
These aren't dramatic transformations. They're people who finally had the right space to work out what they actually needed, and then did something about it.
